Early Friday morning, hours before the United States faced off against Sweden in the World Junior Hockey Championship’s Gold Medal game, Jaimee Hendrikson took the microphone at a press event in Gothenburg, Sweden, to invite all 10 participating nations to St. Paul for the tournament’s 50th anniversary in two years.Hendrikson, the president and chief executive officer of Visit St. Paul, the city’s tourism bureau, has her work cut out for her between now and Dec. 26, 2025, when the first of 29 games unfold at downtown St. Paul’s 18,000-seat Xcel Energy Center and the smaller 3M Arena at Mariucci on the University of Minnesota’s campus. Multiple injured in bus rollover on Interstate-87

LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- On Friday afternoon, a bus rollover on the I-87 Northway closed all lanes and both shoulders between exits 22 and 23. Officials say the bus was traveling from Montreal to New York City. The Lake George Fire Department confirms that approximately 22 victims with various injuries were treated.Some passengers were taken to the Lake George Village Fire House to be assessed and treated for injuries. Twelve victims were taken to Glens Falls Hospital for treatment, none of whom were in critical condition. One person is being evaluated at Albany Medical Center as well.Medivac helicopters also responded to the scene. WARRENSBURG, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Multiple people were injured when a Flixbus traveling southbound on I-87 rolled over on Friday afternoon. The crash happened between exits 22 and 23 in Lake George. St. Louis City employee mask mandate ends after a few hours

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - After only a few hours of requiring city employees to mask up indoors again, the decision has been reversed. The Department of Health released an updated statement Friday afternoon saying employees were strongly recommended to wear a mask indoors after announcing earlier in the morning that masks were required. The prior decision was made due to an increasing number of cases regarding RSV, COVID-19, and influenza.The department also clarified information that was released Thursday about the percent changes from this season to previous seasons. The data now shows the difference for one month. Influenza had the highest increase in the number of cases, with over a 450% spike. Those aged 25–49 had the largest number of infections, followed by children aged 5–14 years old. COVID-19 hospitalizations rose by 38%, with 270 people hospitalized during the week of Dec. 23. Charge dismissed against Pueblo man accused of tampering with voting machine in 2022

An election tampering charge filed against a Pueblo man accused of removing an official seal and pulling a USB port from a voting machine during the June 2022 primaries has been dismissed.A Pueblo District Court judge ordered Richard Patton, 32, to undergo an outpatient mental competency exam following his arrest, and, in December 2022, the judge ruled that he was not competent to stand trial.
