STANFORD – Sam Roush seemed to follow his bloodlines when he was named the 2021 Tennessee Class AA co-defensive player of the year.Roush’s maternal great uncle is Pro Football Hall of Famer Merlin Olsen, who spent 15 years as a defensive tackle with the Los Angeles Rams. His maternal grandfather, Phil Olsen, also played defensive tackle in the NFL, while his father, Luke Roush, played safety at Duke.Roush had a breakout performance for Stanford last week that’d make his football-playing relatives proud – but it was on the other side of the ball, as a tight end. (BCN) -- San Francisco firefighters rescued a man trapped under a collapsed dock near Pier 90 early Friday morning, according to fire officials. Video posted by the San Francisco Fire Department on social media showed a rescuer had to swim toward the man, who could be seen clinging to a beam. $350K of stolen goods recovered in Oakland, Sacramento County fencing operation The collapsed dock was near the area of Amador Street, fire officials said. Palisades Tahoe employee dies in snowmobile crash

(FOX40.COM) -- An employee of Palisades Tahoe was pronounced dead on Thursday morning due to a snowmobile crash, according to California Highway Patrol Truckee. The 25-year-old man was last seen by a fellow employee at 5 a.m. and was discovered at 6:30 a.m. near the crash site.
